AQUABLUE Ranks on Inc. Magazine’s List of Best Workplaces for 2022

  • AQUABLUE makes debut on Inc. Magazine’s List of the Best Workplaces
  • Ranked among highest-scoring businesses with standout management, employee engagement, development opportunities, collaboration, and exceptional company culture

Ramsey, NJAQUABLUE, a leading integrated telecommunications provider specializing in enterprise communications, today announced that it has been named to Inc. Magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list.

Featured in the upcoming May/June 2022 issue and prominently featured on Inc.com, the list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture, whether operating in a physical or virtual facility.

“Not long ago, the term ‘best workplace’ would have conjured up images of open-office designs with stocked snack fridges,” said Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Yet, given the widespread adoption of remote work, the concept of the workplace has shifted. This year, Inc. has recognized the organizations dedicated to redefining and enriching the workplace in the face of the pandemic.”

After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 475 honorees this year. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine the overall score and ranking.

“We are committed to building an organization in our home state of New Jersey with an environment where employees thrive through team building events, professional education, community, and charity outreach, talent development, and support of minority and gender representation,” said Chris Marino, CEO of AQUABLUE. “We invest in our people through mentorship, education, and training, with laser focus on communicating successes and areas of improvement. That always has and always will be the key to all of our achievements.”

Throughout COVID-19, AQUABLUE continued to invest in its team – not only retaining staff but adding 30% more headcount – and continued to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. To note, 33% of employees are 25 or younger, 22% of employees are women, 11% of managers are women, and 33% of employees are minorities.

“Being fully remote, creating a company culture and sense of community is vital to retaining our employees and building a sense of community,” added Jim Erickson, Chief Commercial Officer, AQUABLUE. “It is vital to our success that AQUABLUE is regarded as a place where employees can both professionally grow as a group as well as develop their individual talents and skill sets to build the next generation of leadership.”

Additionally, AQUABLUE takes pride in supporting extraordinary people and organizations in their community. Through AQUABLUE CARES, they donate to and volunteer at organizations such as The Ocean Clean Up and Waves of Change, as well as Wall Street Rides Far for Autism Research, and Memorial Sloan Kettering.
